The problem

Good jobs go cold while you're on the tools.

You can't answer emails from under a sink. By the time you knock off and check your inbox, some people have already booked someone else. Not because the other business was better. Because they got back first.

Often, someone who fills in your form has filled in two or three others too. The job is on their mind now. A quick, friendly reply tells them they've been heard and gives them a way to book before they move on.

Why the first reply so often wins

Example  A made-up day, but you might recognise it.

7:42am

A new enquiry comes in through your website. You're under a house in Petersham.

10:30am

Another one. Your phone buzzes in the ute. You're halfway through a job.

12:15pm

Lunch. You mean to reply, then a customer rings about an invoice.

8:05pm

You finally reply to both. One has already booked someone else. The other doesn't answer.

How it works

Three simple steps

No new app to learn. Your customers fill in the same form they always have.

  1. 1

Someone fills in your website form

Same form you've got now. We connect it to Quickbell during setup.

  2. 2

Quickbell replies in about a minute

A friendly email from your business asks what the job is, where, and how urgent. It says up front that it's an automatic first reply.

  3. 3

They book, you get the summary

The reply includes your booking link. You get a short summary with the job, the suburb and how urgent it is.

Why tradies use it

A fast, friendly first reply, without you lifting a finger

Replies day or night

Enquiries that land at 9pm or on a Sunday still get a friendly reply in about a minute.

Asks the useful questions

What's the job, where is it, how urgent? You decide the questions during setup.

Sends your booking link

Customers can lock in a time while they're still keen, instead of waiting to hear back.

A summary, not a back-and-forth

One short email per enquiry: who, where, what and how urgent, with the full conversation underneath.

Your words, approved by you

You read and approve the wording before anything goes live, and you can change it whenever you like.

Off whenever you say

Going on holidays, or not for you? Tell us and we'll switch it off. No lock-in contract intended.

An example conversation

What your customer sees, and what you see

Your customer gets a reply that sounds like a real small business, not a robot. You get the details in one tidy summary.

  • It says up front that it's an automatic first reply.
  • It only asks what you'd ask anyway.
  • It never quotes prices or gives technical advice.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Can't see yours? There's more on the FAQ page, or ask us. A real person reads every message.

What does Quickbell actually do?

When someone fills in the enquiry form on your website, Quickbell sends them a friendly email reply from your business within about a minute. It asks a couple of questions (what the job is, where, how urgent) and includes your booking link. You get a short summary of each enquiry with the full conversation underneath.

Does it handle phone calls, texts or Facebook messages?

Not yet. Today Quickbell handles enquiries from your website form, by email. Text messages (SMS), missed calls and Facebook or Instagram messages are coming later. We'll say so on this site when they're ready, not before.

Will my customers know it's an automatic reply?

Yes. The first reply says it's a quick automatic reply from your business, so nobody feels tricked. You read and approve the wording before it goes live.

Will it quote prices or give advice?

No. It never quotes prices, promises times you haven't offered, or gives technical or safety advice. It gathers the basics and points people to your booking link, or to your emergency number for anything urgent.

Do I need a card to start the pilot?

No. The pilot is free for 30 days and we don't ask for payment details to start it.

Do I need to change my website?

Usually not much. We help connect your existing website form during setup. If your site doesn't have a form, get in touch and we'll talk it through honestly.
